Dance Masters did a really, really (really) great job at our wedding. We had Derek as our DJ and he was amazing. He really kept an eye on the crowd to keep them dancing all night. He was also really great at organizing things and working closely with our caterer/coordinator to ensure that everything went smoothly. He also made sure that guests knew to visit the photobooth and sign the little "guestbooks" we had at each table. Derek did such a great job!!!

Derek was wonderful! We had to exit the building in the middle of my reception because of a fire alarm. Derek went the extra mile and stayed longer to make up for the lost time!! I just wanted to say a BIG thank you to you and Sue for the West Towson Event!!! You guys were AWESOME. You cannot believe how many compliments I had on the "DJ"!!! Your professionalism shines through from your appearance, professionalism, personality and sound equipment! You are top notch! I have previously been an event planner for The Limited Store headquarters in Columbus Ohio planning $100K budget events and seriously have not come across a DJ as talented as you! I'm totally serious. You did what you said you would do! and that is important! We would love to have you back at West Towson. Feel free to share my accolades and I will send photos when I can. I can't say enough about Derek and all that he did to make our day incredible! From the moment I arrived, Derek was by my side filling me in on last minute details, grabbing drinks, and taking pictures. He even brought glow sticks for all of the kids.
I'm not great with selecting music, but Derek did an incredible job picking songs that would keep the crowd moving. Several of our guests have commented that our wedding was the best that they had been to because almost every person was out on the dance floor.
I would highly recommend Dance Masters to any bride, and I would especially recommend Derek if you want a reception that will be unforgettable for you and your guests. |

Having worked with Derek before for charity events and knowing I could trust him with the most important day in our only daughter's life, we booked him for Christine and Jason's wedding. Derek was a master of keeping us on schedule, reading the crowd for what they wanted to dance too, honoring all the requests from the family and bridal couple. He made me and my daughter and son and law feel waited on and special by anticipating our needs, above and beyond the music, even handing me, the mother of the bride, kleenex when I needed it! :) We could have continued this party for hours after the time we did thanks to Derek's mastery at keeping everyone engaged and keeping the activities moving. He is wonderful to plan with, can accomodate and change on a second's notice, and has an ability to work with a wide variety of people! Derek did a wonderful job at our wedding reception and I would highly recommend him to any bride. He went far beyond what we expected of a DJ. I'm sure you hear this all the time about Derek, but I just had to tell you about the wonderful experience we had with him at our wedding that just past on May 8th. During our initial meeting, we got such a good feel from him. He was so personable and got us both really excited. He followed up with us before our event to put my mind at ease which is more than I can say about some of our other vendors. From the time we pulled up to the reception, he was right there guiding us through the time-line of the night. He even helped me with my dress and held my flowers so we could take pictures. With his direction, the night went perfect. He played everything we wanted and got the crowed going. We could definitely tell that this is more than just a job to him. I will be spreading the word about the exceptional treatment we received from Dance Masters, and especially from Derek :)

What a spectacular service you all provided! We knew music would help the party flow, but we had no idea how you would help orchestrate the entire event!
As a bride, I was caught up with so many things to think about and do, it was great to have someone direct us, so I could just enjoy the event and day. We would have been lost without Sue!
Don was great too! He played everything we requested, and took the time to really get a feel for our music tastes, and the music was ROCKIN! You could tell he was enjoying himself too!

To all the young brides out there. If you don't choose Sue and Don for your Wedding Reception, you are making a BIG MISTAKE! I choose them for my Granddaughter's Reception and everyone there enjoyed themselves because of these "fantastic" people. Sue goes beyond the duties of a DJ. She made sure that Steph ate, rested, and even packed up all of her things at the end of the reception! This is year number 3 for TLS using Don and Sue at our Father-Daughter Dance - Are they great? - You bet!!. Somehow they get the fathers AND daughters out on the dance floor. Our Chirstmas Party took place on the night of a big snowstorm. 300 guests were invited and approximately 85/90 attended. What could have been a disaster both financially and socially turned out to be an enormous success and specifically because of Sue & Don. In spite of the small number of people attending, Don & Sue performed as if there were 500 people in the room. Those of us who made it to the party were there until the end, at midnight. The reason we all stayed and danced and partied was because of Don & Sue. I have been to many social functions, in many different states, and have never experienced a better form of entertainment. These people are the absolute best in their business. If you are lucky enough to experience their work one time - you will be a fan forever.
Sue and Don single handedly saved our Christmas Party and we are very grateful to them for it. |

There are very few times that we come upon someone who is much, much more than we expected. This was the case with Dance Masters. Don played everything that we requested, and more: songs that everyone seemed to love and enjoy. Sue took over all of the little details that I wouldn't know how to do, since this was the first wedding I've thrown. She started from the moment the bride was getting dressed, until the last guest was out the door. Taking care of what order everyone walked down the aisle, cutting the cake, the bouquet, garter, first dance, special dances...when I say everything, that is an understatement. They are worth Gold to me and I am so very thankful that I was lucky enough to have them there. |
